I've had a secure credit card for over a year now and I'd like to apply for a normal one now. I'm building my credit and would like one without an annual fee and with good benefits like air miles etc. What should I apply for? Thanks!!!

I am trying to repair credit. I have enough money to establish a secure credit card without impacting my budget too much. I can also qualify (barely) for an unsecured card with excessive fees (billed to my available credit upon issue). So, I guess my question is...is there any difference in credit reporting between the two options? This will help me decide which route to go. I plan to use the card incidentally, only to show usage and increase my credit score.
Recently I applied for a business credit card online. But now I am in fear that any body can access my information. Are the online credit cards applications secure?
Or is it only recommended for people with "bad" credit?
Its very difficult obtaining a good fair credit card with high amounts on them. I currently only have a 300 limit. Will a secure credit card help to increase the credit score? Any advice. I'm also not sure if I should pay off the credit cards that expire within the next couple of years from the credit report.
