Credit Cards For Fair Credit

I would like to change one of my current credit card to a better rewards card offered by the same company. Is it possible to do this without additional credit checks? I don't want to lose my 2 year history on the card by changing the type of card and I don't want too many inquiries on my credit to lower my score.
I have 2 cards that I inquired about. One let me do it and the other wanted me to go through a new application. Thanks!

i am currently trying to obtain a debit card that has the lowest monthly rate(below 5.95) that debit card company charge monthly for using the debit card also it has to be rechargable beucase i will be using it for online purchases

What I mean is can they actually go into detail with your accounts, etc.? OR do they only see you "credit rating" or "score"?? Someone with experience as an employer or manager, please help me out with this one. I am going to have a credit check done on me for a job, and my credit if considered "fair" because I don't have a long credit history, but I need a little info.

im 15 and i have a job and i think it would be good if i would get a debit card... are there any cards out there that i can actually get even though im not 18??

i know to get most debit cards you have to be atleast 18 years old...
