ok i just turned 18 yrs old and i had a debt about a cell phone that i owned but once i turned 18 i paid it off.. but why does it say it'll remain under my creit for seven years,,,

experian says:
Credit reporting agencies like Experian are governed by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and companion state laws. The FCRA permits us to list positive information on your credit report indefinitely, although it generally remains up to 10 years. Accurate negative information - such as a late payment or an account turned over to a collection agency - can remain on your credit report for seven years. Bankruptcies may remain on your credit report for up to 10 years. Unpaid tax liens may remain for up to 15 years.

what does this mean? because evn wen i want to apply for a store card (like target, macys, bestbuy) or a credit card, they dont let me because they say i have an outstanding debt....

Air mile credit cards have an industry guideline with an interest rate of 9.99%, most stick to this guideline interest rate. Most of these airmile credit cards also carry an yearly card charge of anywhere between $40 up to $400 per year, depending on the benefits and perks the company's program decides to give to its users.

Airmile Credit Cards are a great way to increase your airmiles due to the fact that the airlines give you miles per sum spent, and then often double up your airmile if you have bought a airline ticket with them using that airliner’s credit card. So doing a few, short-haul flights, using your air mile credit card as payment could ensure that you have a free flight lined up in no time. Many airline companies also offer free or cheap upgrades to the class that you've purchased, and sometimes your ticket is automatically flagged for upgrade, if possible, when you buy your airplane ticket with that airline’s credit card.

Another great advantage credit cards with air miles have over normal bank credit cards is the huge rivalry factor they face. Due to the many airlines offering their own credit card, each airliner is now trying their best to lower credit card fees , add extra cool stuff like free miles, sign-up miles, free or reduced companion tickets, anniversary bonuses, and many more reasons why you should take out Southwestern's credit card instead of US Air's credit card. This can be a great bargain sometimes, especially if you sign up for the best suitable program for your type of spending , but just remember to not over-extend your credit limit.

In our opinion , having an airline credit card wich is managed properly every month can really benefit the card owner. The rewards far outweigh having a normal bank card , proving that sometimes the yearly card fee is justified .
