Is this possible...i have a balance transfer offer from CitiBank on my existing account for 1.99% for the life of the transfer. My current balance is 00 at 13% APR. Can I transfer that balance to my Capital One Card, and then transfer it back to my Citi Card to take advantage of that offer?

What is the best type of credit card you think is worth it? As in rewards, cashback, mileages or whatever. Of course, there shouldn't be any annual fees. I am currently using MyPoints Visa cards, and I earn 1$ for every month, but shoot their rewards STINK. 100$ reward card = usually 14000 points. So it is basically for every 140$ I spend, I earn 1$!!! That less than 1%. Any recommendations, I don't mind what type of rewards it give, as long as the percentage is good.

Also, I don't charge everything on my card, only when I have to buy something.

I threw away a recipt for a playstation I got at Walmart on accident. And go and behold something was wrong with it after 2 weeks, I returned it and they gave me a card with instore credit. I was wondering what we can buy off them. If I can buy a gift visa card with it so I can have some cash on hand?

I have applied for a Citi Forward card for students, I was approved a month or so ago, they have another card for college students that doesn't require a cosigner or income.

Should I wait a certain timeframe before applying for this card or should I just apply for the card since its been a month after I received the card?

    im a college student, i dont have any credit history, i just applied a citi mtvu credit card which is designed for collge student, but when i submit the application, it says application received, and ask me to wait for 7 days for the decision, this is my first time applying credit card, is it normal?

    I requested a balance transfer from my Citibank card to my Chase card of about 00. The 00 has appeared on my Chase card, but still hasn't been deducted from my Citibank card yet. Slightly worrying since this has doubled my debt load - ha. I'd call and find out, but I'm abroad and my cell phone doesn't work here...

    Also, I accidentally requested a transfer thats larger than my balance at Citibank - so I will have a negative balance on my Citi card?

    I just applied for an american express online and I was declined. I was thinking I'd apply for citi card right away. With the american express declined seconds ago, will this affect their decision in approving me the credit card?
