I have had a debit card from Bank of America for a year and a credit card for less than a month but i need another debit card for rent money so i know what money i can spend and all...Chase has a good offer right now so should i open up the other card with them? Or stick with Bank of America? Does it affect my credit score or anything? I'm 19 btw

I only use credit cards anywhere they are allowed since my credit card gives me 3% cash back. It's a Chase Freedom card. I set it up to automatically take the payment out of my bank account every month so I don't have to worry about paying it. Using debt cards and cash where you could be using a credit card just seems like a waste to me. Are people just dumb or is there some other logic behind not always using reward credit cards?

I have an online credit card account (at, let's say Chase), and I have a 0 credit card statement, and I have three weeks to pay it off. If I pay 0 right away and 0 a week after the statement date, will they report a late 0 payment to the bureaus or will I be all paid off as long as I pay the statement balance before the grace period ends?

When I tried to sign up for an Amazon.com credit card, I noticed something about Chase alone determining my eligibility. When I completed the submission, Amazon said they would need to review my credit history or something and they'd get back to me in 30 days if I qualified. Personally, I don't think I qualified even though my credit history is good because I don't use credit cards very much. Chase has sent me credit card offers in the mail before which I have yet to even open, so maybe if I accept one of their offers...

I have been using rewards cards and paying off the balance for years. I have read that applying for new credit card wont affect your record if you only get one, and don't open too many in a short period of time. Not sure what "short period of time" is . There are 3 rewards cards I have been meaning to get because of bonus/rewards, but not sure how I should space them out.
