I would like to change one of my current credit card to a better rewards card offered by the same company. Is it possible to do this without additional credit checks? I don't want to lose my 2 year history on the card by changing the type of card and I don't want too many inquiries on my credit to lower my score.
I have 2 cards that I inquired about. One let me do it and the other wanted me to go through a new application. Thanks!

I'm trying to build my credit up by applying for a credit card but I'm having trouble. I have limited credit and so far all the cards I've applied for have turned me down. I was just wondering if anybody could help me by telling me which one might actually help me build my credit and not turn me down. Thank you very much.

I am looking into doing a balance transfer before my current credit card, with WaMu, starts applying interest in January of 2008. I will be paying off the amount in whole within a few months of the new year. This is the only credit card account that I have & I have a credit score of 676 -- is there any way to know what cards I qualify for with possibly a interest free period & no balance transfer fee without having to apply to several first? Since that could bring my credit score down, it would be more helpful to know beforehand. Thanks!
