I am 23 years old i have a credit score of 542. I need to get my credit on track. I have no idea how to begin to do that. I also have an eviction (when i was 17 my family and i were going to get evicted in doing so my 18th birthday passed and i was forced to add my name to the lease which put the eviction on my credit, i have disputed it once before but it's still there). I dont know how to get my credit at least in fair standings. Does anyone has any advice on what i can do.

Is there a card that doesn't have a balance transfer fee as well? My current 0%card is about to go to10%, and I have 00 left on it from health care charges. What is the best card to go with? I normally never charge stuff, but this year was really bad for medical costs. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Ok here is my story...I filed chapter 7 bankrupsey last year. My husband left me with a 3mo old special needs baby and between paying for his doctor bills and putting myself through college I was in ,000 debt and I filed ch 7. Now I am out of college and want to get my credit back on track so I can buy a house in the next few years. I though if I got a credit card from a dept store to show that I can pay them back and establish credit that would work, but I get turned down every time I apply. My bank will not even let me have a debt card. I have a stable job now and I'm looking to settel down and get my life back on track. What steps do I need to take to get my credit back on track? Can anyone give me any advice?

I would like to ask your advice on a problem I am facing with an Indian credit card company called ICICI.
This is the situation:

I bought 3 tickets from GoAir online (www.goair.in) last month. Each of those tickets cost Rs2900. While booking the tickets the first time, I tried booking for 3 people at once for a total of 8700. But once I entered the credit card details and clicked on process ticket, the page did not move. There was nothing wrong with my Internet, the page just never moved. I never got a confirmation of that transaction, no tickets, nothing. I was left with no option but to book afresh after waiting 4 at least an hour.

I then decided to individually book for 1 person at a time - 2900 each. So, I used the credit card 3 times for 2900. I got the tickets and the confirmation. Now, when I get the bill, they hav also charged me for the 1st transcation of 8700 for no tickets! Total bill is now 17k!! (8700 +2900+2900+2900!)It's not fair, is it? Can I fight this?

I have real bad credit I believe, because I even have a foreclosure in my credit report.I am now trying to find some kind of credit card offer that will let me borrow like 0.00, but I do not want it to have a terrible high interest rate nor a Deposit fee nor any other fee. I am trying to rebuild my credit because I only think that I will spend like .00 a month and try to pay it back in full the next month. I have tried to look into the many "Bad Credit" offers online, but I need some guidance as to what to do because I do not want to be cheated like many CC do as I have found out. What do you advice?
