Would accepting a credit card offer from Chase help me qualify for an Amazon.com credit card?
When I tried to sign up for an Amazon.com credit card, I noticed something about Chase alone determining my eligibility. When I completed the submission, Amazon said they would need to review my credit history or something and they'd get back to me in 30 days if I qualified. Personally, I don't think I qualified even though my credit history is good because I don't use credit cards very much. Chase has sent me credit card offers in the mail before which I have yet to even open, so maybe if I accept one of their offers...

The Amazon Rewards Visa is backed by Chase, meaning that your card is funded and serviced by Chase.
Since you have already submitted an application for the card, you authorized a hard pull on your credit, I would wait until you find out if the card was approved or denied, before submitting anymore applications.
Chase is the bank which handles Amazon’s private-labeled card. But, don’t apply to multiple cards that you don’t need. Too much credit available to you on cards can hinder your ability to borrow when necessary. One card, pay it in full each month, earn it before you spend it.
I would agree you should not apply for other Chase offers at this time. Chase has been cutting back on multiple card holders of their cards.
Just because you receive an offer does not mean you will receive the credit card offered in the mailer.
Hold off for a few days and call them if you like. The following is taken from the Chase site.
