You can get cash back on a credit card, but keep in mind the credit card will charge you a fee for a "cash advance" and start charging interest the moment you receive the cash. Look at a credit card bill for the fees and charges, or call the credit card company — there should be a customer service phone number on the back of the card for you to call.

    Hey there!

Yes! You can. I am a VISA holder and on your bill at the bottom it should say: Maximum credit Limit: xxx.xx and Maximim CASH BACK limit: xxx.xx

If you are new with a low credit history your cash back should be nearing 500$
    Hope I helped!

Also keep in mind there is interest. Say if you withdraw 100$ in Cashback. You would actually have to pay more than that.

Not typically. If you knew a merchant such as a restaurant manager or perhaps a grocery manager, you could ask if they would run your card for say $20 over, and then get the cash back, but this is not something you could probably get done without knowing someone there.

Discover offers that for purchases at Wal-Mart and our local grocery store, Giant Eagle. It is not considered a cash advance.

    Simple answer. No.

However. You can go to an ATM (If you’ve set up a security code with this card) and withdraw cash, but that’s called a Cash Advance. Usually interest rates are 20-30% so you don’t want to do this.
