If my co-worker makes 2.5k/mo, and has a credit score in the low 600s, what could he afford on a car financing

Very Stable work history, but just started to build his credit. what could be a fair monthly payment, on a financing deal for a car
So what would be the monthly payment in practice and how many years would that be for?

This page has various lenders with decent financing for people with less than perfect credit, http://axalda.info/bad-credit-car-loans.html

All the dealers usually look for is the credit score, not income. If they make that much, why such a low credit score? Tell them to just pay cash upfront for the entire thing.Cash talks…remember?
