    You need to get a local real estate agent to help you find a house and a lender. Make sure she is familiar with the area. There are no stipulations for foreigners that is any different than any one else in the USA. That is the beauty of a free society… however, soon it will all belong to other countries!

    An all cash sale would work.
    Other than that the "foreigner" would have to qualify with a lending institution the same way a citizen would. By proving a source of income sufficient to pay the mortgage and a good credit history.
    Any licensed Realtor would be thrilled to help you.

    China does it all the time…USA is mostly owned by foreigners. Haven’t you heard?
