How can I buy a house when I still live/own a mobile home?

I want to buy a house soon, but still have a mobile home and owe about 19 thousand. Is it possible to still buy a house? How can I get out of the mobile home and buy a house? Is it possible?

  1. Bob says:

Owning a mobile home does not disqualify you from buying a house as long as you have enough income to support the payments and enough funds for the down payment and closing costs for the new home. If it is worth more than you owe on it, selling or refinancing the mobile home could be a source of funds for the new home or you may even be able to rent it to someone else.

Even in this market, there are still some zero down payment options available for buying a home.
