Can someone explain to me how to use a prepaid visa card to purchase a game off ebay?

Tomorrow I plan on buying a 50 dollar prepaid visa card, now I tried using one before and it was rejected..so is there something I have to do to mke it work or does ebay not accept prepaid visa giftcards as a paypal payment?
if I have to do something like register the card or something please explain how...sorry Im new to this.

It’s not eBay, it’s Paypal.
Paypal verifies the credit card and a pre-paid card doesn’t really belong to anyone. The ONLY way it might work is if you register the card before using it.
If you buy an eBay branded gift card, it will work.
you can set up to pay through paypal with your credit card… I forget where the button is on the site though. have a look around
as long as you have a paypal account for the visa you got, then you can purchase what ever you want from ebay
