Whats the best Credit Card to establish credit?

I'm a sophomore in college and I want to establish credit. I want to know whats the best card to choose? Someone told me to try citi student credit cards. I'd like to keep up my credit so in 6 months to a year I can get a nice used car because finding transportation to work is becoming difficult. With the economy all crazy is now a good time?
I do have a checking and savings account.
Also. I have to get a car because my younger sister is pregnant and someone has to bring her to doctor appointments and pick her up from school while my parents are at work.

Since you are in college any student card will be a good one to start credit with, check out http://www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com under student cards, they have no annual fee and carry low interest.

Do you have a checking account?
Ask them for a visa card along with your account.
Easiest to get IF you have a checking.

    If not, go to bankrate.com
    and look for a card.
Paying off in full is the way to develop top notch scores.
Don’t ever carry a balance if you are trying to establish credit.

Your bank is probably the highest limit you’ll get if they accept you. Capital One can get you a card at $300 and increase your limit to $750 after 4 months $1000 in 7 months

I do not know what the best credit card is. But if you get one make sure that you can pay your purchases off each month instead of payments. Interest can eat you up. Right now, I would not worry about getting a credit card. I would save money and pay cash for me a used car. Then you won’t have to worry about making payments if you don’t have a job.
