Requirements to apply for credit card?
I am 18 years old and have never been employed. I need a credit card before I go off to college in approximately 3 weeks, and I was wondering if I can still apply for a credit card even if I don't have a credit history? If so, which are the best credit card companies to apply to for college students.

i was in the same situation
Bank of America allowed me to start with a "student" credit card, which didn’t have a whole lot of credit (compared to others) but enough for books, classes, and all student needs.
ALSO, they give you increases if you’re good on payments
