can prepaid debit(not credit) cards be used for online for online credit card transactions?

i want to purchase something of the internet of a prepaid debit card you buy at the store ,but i dont know if i can, because most stores online ask for a credit card not debit card. will a prepaid debit card work as a credit card?

    YES. the site doesnt know the difference between debot ro credit online.

    You can as long as the debit card has a mastercard or visa logo on it then it doesn’t matter

    yes, Prepaid credit cards: – are set of cards that are just acceptable wherever the traditional credit cards are acceptable, but they are not credit card. You will have to always transfer money to your card before you can make use of the card and you may not be able to spend more than you prepaid for the card.
