I can’t imagine they would check your credit to renew your lease. That would be very expensive for them if they did that for every person for every renewal. I’ve had residents transfer apartments and they’ve filed for bankruptcy but have excellent rental history.
That is 100% up to your landlord. There is no law that me must renew your lease and no law that he cannot renew your lease. You need to ask him, not us. We cannot make that decisions for him.
