I don't understand some people on here. People whine about bill collectors and about their bad credit and how it is everyone fault but their own. They complain about being turnd down for a loan because of their bad credit etc.
Why not just make payments like you are supposed to so you do have problems.
I don't understand why these people that are in so much debt want loans and credit cards to go deeper in to debt?
Can anyone answer?????
I think even Studly would agree with me here.
To China Doll-
When I was younger I was there. But I took care of my responsibilities before I tried to get more credit and loans.
I paid my dues.
All I am saying herer is that people should pay off ther existing bad debt before trying to get more.
I am not judging anyone, just asking what is going through someone head when they say "I need another bill, another loan, another credit card and I can even pay the ones I have now"{ DUH!!
To improve your credit you must first take care of delinquent accounts. If there are still unpaid collections on your file, getting a new loan or another credit card will not help.

I was wondering the same thing. But I guess some people have good reasons, other than just trying to see how much they can get for nothing

I think people are trying to fix their credit with new cards and/or loans. A small card or a small loan might be the way to go, especially if they are making headway in paying off old debt. There are a lot of people who have had problems and mostly, there is no one to blame but themselves. However, people do make mistakes. Next time, please consider your own mistakes before judging people on theirs.

Maybe it’s because in life there is a lesson to be learned by all of us. Has it occured to you that maybe these people have not learned that lesson yet? Experience is and has always been the best teacher….So lighten up; maybe you’re not in their position-but who knows where you’ll be one day….and maybe you would want people to have empathy for you. Try having some for them…………….

No, Mr. Collector, I don’t agree with you. And I still think you are an uncaring jerk!
Everyone has different reasons for getting another credit card.
The question you SHOULD be asking is this: Why do credit card companies give people who are in debt another credit card? They certainly have access to their credit reports. Would you give a $5000 open line of credit to someone who already has several outstanding loans and not enough income to justify it?
Your problem is you clump everyone into the same "deadbeat" barrel. But I see people who lost their job and need a card to feed their family until they get another job. Or the parent who’s kid had an accident and they had to spend a ton of money on emergency bills….
So we do have a major disagreement on this one….I blame the creditors.

I guess the people looking for credit because, they have already in credit problems and try to pay the existing debit by getting new credit, some of them they know it again leads to more problems, some of them doing because they don’t have choice.
